(859) 404-3072 or keenankelley1@gmail.com Responsibilities Provide professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each pet's breed and individual needs Handle dogs and other small animals with care, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Use animal restraint techniques effectively to keep pets calm and secure during grooming procedures Maintain a clean, organized mobile grooming unit, adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming preferences, health considerations, and aftercare instructions Assist with pet handling tasks such as pet sitting or pet care advice when needed Perform basic veterinary-related tasks if qualified, including animal restraint or administering minor first aid in emergencies Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable Strong animal handling skills with the ability to manage dogs of various temperaments and sizes Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large dogs into the grooming tub) Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Familiarity with pet grooming tools and sanitation practices Prior kennel experience or equine experience is a plus but not required Join us in delivering top-tier mobile pet grooming services that prioritize animal well-being and customer satisfaction!
