Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pet Sitter and become a trusted caregiver for beloved animals! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and even horses, in a rewarding environment dedicated to compassionate pet care. •Commission Based• Duties Provide daily pet care routines including feeding, administering medication, and ensuring hydration. Engage pets with playtime, exercise, and companionship to promote their physical and emotional well-being. Monitor pet behavior and health, noting any changes or concerns to communicate with pet owners or veterinary professionals. Handle animal restraint safely during grooming, veterinary visits, or medication administration. Assist with training activities such as dog training exercises to reinforce good behavior. Maintain cleanliness of pet living areas and grooming spaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Offer exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and activities. Other duties as assigned Requirements Prior experience in animal handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus. Experience working with animals such as dogs, cats, or horses; veterinary technician or assistant background is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for animal transport or equipment handling. Strong animal restraint skills and familiarity with pet grooming practices. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
