You'll also offer pet sitting services, ensuring animals are comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away. Responsibilities Take dogs on engaging walks tailored to their size, breed, and energy level to promote physical health and mental stimulation Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and ensuring comfort in owners' absence Handle animals with care using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety during walks and interactions Monitor pet behavior closely, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and communicate any concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness of pet areas and ensure equipment such as leashes, harnesses, and grooming tools are well-maintained Assist with basic dog training exercises to reinforce good behavior during walks or sitting periods Offer additional pet care services such as grooming or light veterinary assistance when qualified Requirements Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet grooming practices Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to manage larger animals or equipment safely Strong animal handling skills with a focus on safety and compassion Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns confidently Experience with kennel management or veterinary environments is a plus but not required Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to flexible scheduling needs Join us in creating joyful experiences for pets while supporting their owners!
