A minimum of 1-3 years experience. Grooming School Preferred. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pet care and a genuine love for animals, along with excellent customer service skills to build lasting relationships with pet owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Handle pets safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment. Update pet vaccinations, pet and owner information, and schedule future appointments on online software. Communicate with pet owners about their pets' needs and provide recommendations for care. Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices within the industry. Experience Skills in dog handling, animal restraint, and overall animal handling are essential. Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners and address their needs. Must be 18, High School Diploma or generaleducation degree (GED), and have access to reliable transportation.
