Job Description

JOB TITLE
We prefer new hires to be able to switch between working some morning shifts and some evening shifts. Those with high school requirements need not apply. We love the younger staff, but we need those available for all hours. We are looking to hire an animal care technician. A hire will begin as a kennel technician before having the opportunity to move to other positions within the company. Includes exciting opportunities for job growth within the business and lots of loving on pets. A one-hour working interview is required and will be paid.
JOB SUMMARY
Our business is a successful, growing, and locally owned doggy daycare and pet boarding facility. Our mindset is to make pet ownership possible and fun for all. Includes working closely with other members of our team, spending time with animals, and interacting with customers.

! Each new hire must begin as a kennel technician and learn each position thoroughly before progressing. Our local business is centered around details, cleanliness, teamwork, and personalized pet care. So... learning the behind-the-scenes work first, is necessary. Employees grow within the business in rank and financially solely based off of their own work efforts, dependability, and drive.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Some weekend shifts will be required. Our morning shift is from 6am to 1pm. Our evening shift is 1pm to close (closing could range from 7pm to 8pm). Holidays are a busy time for us. Work availability around holidays are required. Cleaning is essential in all kennel positions. Animals will be around you throughout the facility and that requires having to clean up after them constantly. However, it becomes second nature, and being around animals make it worthwhile a thousand times over. Work also includes, feeding, bathing, caring, handling, and loving on dogs, cats, bunnies, pigs, and occasional exotics.
QUALIFICATIONS
On-site training is provided for all new hires. Must love animals. Must work well in a team environment.
PAY, PERKS, AND BENEFITS
We value dependable, positive, hard-working team members. Hourly pay for part time begins at $15, with a raise increase within the first 2 months if earned. Hourly pay for full-time, experienced applicants begins at $16. Growth within the business is available and encouraged and raises are given when earned.
