Job Description
Animal Caretaker / Kennel Attendant Join Our Family-Owned Pet Care Team We are a small, family-owned pet boarding facility located on a beautiful 70-acre farm. In addition to overnight boarding, we offer dog daycare and grooming services in a welcoming, country setting. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Animal Caretakers who genuinely enjoys working with animals and takes pride in providing exceptional care. Responsibilities Feeding, watering, and monitoring dogs and other boarding pets Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, play areas, and facility grounds Supervising daycare groups and ensuring safe play Walking dogs and providing exercise and enrichment activities Monitoring pets for signs of illness, injury, or stress Assisting with check-in and check-out procedures Supporting grooming staff as needed Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment Providing excellent customer service to pet owners Qualifications Must love animals and be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Previous animal care, kennel, veterinary, farm, daycare, or grooming experience is preferred but not required Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed What We Offer A peaceful farm setting with plenty of outdoor space Opportunity to work closely with animals every day Supportive family-oriented work environment On-the-job training Flexible scheduling opportunities Competitive pay based on experience If you are passionate about animal care and want to be part of a team that treats every pet like family, we'd love to hear from you.
