Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each dog's health and behavior, communicating with pet owners about any concerns or special requirements Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent condition Assist with dog training activities or basic behavioral assessments as needed to support overall pet well-being Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pet care advice Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is highly desirable Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience adds value to your skill set Strong animal handling skills with the ability to manage dogs of various sizes and temperaments effectively Familiarity with pet grooming tools, pet sitting practices, kennel experience, and animal restraint methods Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) safely when handling large dogs or equipment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Prior experience in veterinary or animal care environments such as veterinary clinics or kennels is a plus Join us in creating a safe, caring environment where every dog feels loved and pampered!
