Job Description

Covey Kennels is hiring a Weekend Kennel Technician to help care for dogs at our busy boarding and training facility.
Schedule:
3 out of the 5 weekend shifts (Friday night, Saturday morning/night, and Sunday morning/night) Some weeknight shift also available Hours vary depending on the number of dogs in the kennel
Responsibilities:
Feeding dogs and administering medications when needed Walking dogs and ensuring they get proper exercise Cleaning kennels and facility areas Scooping waste and maintaining a clean environment Refilling water and monitoring dogs for any issues Deep cleaning (power washing, scrubbing walls, etc)
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes Able to perform physical work (walking, lifting, cleaning) up to 60lb Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions Animal care experience is a plus but not required This role is very detail oriented and requires lots of cleaning and following task lists.
