Southern Paws Pet Sitting is a premier, locally-owned pet care service in Sumner County. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Local Pet Sitter . We provide high-standard, in-home care for our clients, and we are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional service and ensuring the safety of the animals in our charge. Compensation & Schedule We provide competitive compensation that reflects the importance of the work our team performs:

Base Compensation:

$15.00 per hour.

Premium Rate:

$20.00 per hour for evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Employment Type:

Part-time, year-round consistent work. Role Responsibilities As a Pet Care Specialist, you will manage a mobile route within Sumner County, serving as the primary point of contact for pets in their own homes.

Health & Safety:

Conduct safe, timely exercise routines and outdoor breaks.

Clinical Accuracy:

Strictly follow detailed care plans, including precise feeding schedules and the administration of medications.

Client Communication:

Maintain a professional and attentive presence, ensuring all special instructions are executed flawlessly during visits (typically 15 to 60 minutes).

Animal Welfare:

Provide companionship and enrichment for both dogs and cats to maintain their well-being in their owners' absence. Candidate Requirements This role requires a high degree of autonomy and professional integrity. To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:

Professionalism:

A self-starter capable of working independently without direct supervision.

Experience:

A strong background and comfort level in handling both dogs and cats.

Logistics:

Must be 21+ years of age with a reliable, insured personal vehicle for travel between client residences.

Resilience:

Ability to perform duties outdoors in various weather conditions.

Availability:

Commitment to working during peak demand periods is required, specifically weekends and holidays.

Our shift windows are:

Morning:

7:00 AM•12:00

PM Midday:

12:00 PM•5:00

PM Evening:
