Southern Paws is looking for dependable and experienced Pet Sitters/Dog Walkers to provide in-home pet care for clients in the local area. This is a part-time, year-round position with flexible scheduling. Compensation $15.00 per hour base rate $20.00 per hour for nights, weekends, and holidays Responsibilities Visit clients' homes to provide care for dogs and cats Feed pets and provide fresh water according to their care instructions Walk, exercise, and provide companionship to pets Administer medications when required and when comfortable doing so Follow each pet's established routine and specific care instructions Provide clients with timely updates about their pets Maintain a clean and safe environment during visits Communicate professionally with clients and the Southern Paws team Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Previous experience caring for dogs and/or cats Comfortable handling pets with different personalities and temperaments Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle Reliable transportation for traveling between client homes Dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently Availability for some weekends and holidays Genuine interest in providing attentive and responsible pet care Benefits Flexible part-time schedule Year-round work Paid time off (PTO) Employee discounts Referral bonuses If you enjoy working with animals and are looking for flexible part-time work, we'd like to hear from you.
