Why Join Furry Land? $2,000 Signing Bonus (dependent on experience) Competitive commission-based pay: $60,000 - $75,000/year Health Insurance 401k Paid Time Off & Paid Sick Leave Flexible Schedule Tips Professional Development Assistance & ongoing training State-of-the-art 2023 Mercedes Sprinter grooming van — fully equipped Scheduling and routing assistance provided Steady and growing client base Flexible van storage — take the van home or use our office space, your choice What You'll Do Drive a state-of-the-art mobile grooming van to scheduled appointments throughout the Coastal Bend area Provide professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, nail care, and styling according to breed standards and owner preferences Conduct thorough assessments of each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall wellbeing, communicating any concerns to owners Educate pet owners on proper at-home grooming techniques and recommend appropriate grooming products Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor at every appointment Ensure the safety and comfort of all pets through gentle handling techniques and positive reinforcement Maintain a clean, organized, and fully sanitized grooming van at all times Manage and schedule appointments efficiently to maximize productivity Qualifications Proven professional pet grooming experience with knowledge of breed-specific cuts, coat types, and grooming techniques Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to stand, bend, and lift dogs up to 75 lbs. and/or heavier temporarily Grooming license for service areas (Required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Flexibility to work any day of the week — Monday through Sunday Certification from a reputable grooming school is highly desirable Benefits Flexible schedule Paid time off & paid sick leave Health insurance 401k Professional development assistance Tips Compensation Package Commission-based pay $2,000 signing bonus Tips Bonus opportunities Availability Required Monday through Sunday (Full Availability Preferred) Furry Land is an equal opportunity employer.
