Duties Take dogs on engaging walks, ensuring proper leash handling and adherence to individual exercise needs Provide pet sitting services including feeding, administering medication, and maintaining routines Monitor pets' behavior and health during visits, recognizing signs of distress or illness Perform basic dog training commands to promote good behavior and obedience Handle animals safely using appropriate restraint techniques and animal handling skills Maintain cleanliness of pet areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized after use Communicate clearly with pet owners about their pets' activities, behaviors, and any concerns that arise Experience Prior experience in pet sitting or dog walking is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques or animal handling best practices Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a strong plus, especially for understanding pet health needs Familiarity with pet care routines including feeding, medication administration, and hygiene tasks Ability to lift heavy objects such as bags of pet food or large dogs safely and comfortably Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and ensure satisfaction Join us if you're passionate about animal care, eager to develop your skills in a lively environment, and ready to make a positive impact on pets' lives every day!
