About Our Company Metro Animals is DFW's premier doggie daycare and boarding center. We pride ourselves on providing a fun, clean, and flexible workplace with a family-like atmosphere among the staff. Our business is the top-rated dog care and dog wash in the metroplex. If you are passionate about working with dogs and providing a safe and enjoyable environment for them, we would love to hear from you! Dog Daycare Attendant/Service Team As a Daycare worker at our facility, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our human clients and our dog clients. We are looking for someone who loves dogs and wants to work with every type of breed. No experience is required, but we would love it if you did have some prior animal handling skills. We're looking for someone who can provide stellar customer service and comes to work with a great attitude. We also want to ensure you have a reliable way to get to work. Duties Maintain a great attitude when communicating with clients Work with a pack of 40+ dogs of different sizes and breeds Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Supervise and monitor the behavior and interactions of dogs in the daycare facility Provide basic care for dogs, including feeding, watering, and administering medications if necessary Engage dogs in playtime activities and ensure they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including sanitizing play areas and equipment Assist with grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming Monitor the health and well-being of dogs, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff Interact with dog owners, providing updates on their pets' activities and behavior Requirements Experience in animal handling or related field (e.g., pet grooming, kennel, veterinary assistant/technician) Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with dog owners Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior principles Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting or prolonged periods of standing/walking Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple dogs and prioritize tasks accordingly
