From bathing and brushing to trimming and styling, you'll ensure every pet leaves happy, comfortable, and beautifully groomed. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to combine your love for animals with your grooming skills in a lively, supportive environment. •Compensation is offered as hourly or commission based depending on candidate skills and preference during interview discussion. Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences Handle dogs with care using animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Assess each dog's coat condition, skin health, and temperament to tailor grooming plans accordingly Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and sanitize tools after each use to uphold hygiene standards Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special care instructions, and aftercare advice Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring a calm environment for anxious or energetic dogs Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming Strong animal handling skills with the ability to manage dogs of various temperaments and sizes Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large dogs onto tables) Excellent customer service skills to engage pet owners positively and professionally Familiarity with kennel experience, pet sitting, or animal restraint practices is a plus Must be detail-oriented with a passion for animal welfare and pet care excellence Join us in creating joyful experiences for pets and their owners!
