Dog Attendant- Dogtopia Alamo Heights

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for dogs while their owners are away. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day. If you love animals and have experience in pet care or related fields, we want to hear from you! Duties Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility by regularly cleaning play areas, kennels, and equipment. Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their dietary needs. Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management. Assist with basic dog training techniques to promote good behavior among the pets. Ensure proper animal restraint techniques are used during handling. Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, health issues, or incidents during their stay. Qualifications Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus. Ability to handle various breeds of dogs safely and effectively. Must be physically capable of lifting and restraining dogs when necessary. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is essential.
