Job Summary Dog Walker Wanted (Part Time) Join the Chubby Wienerz Pack! Do you love dogs, fresh air, and getting your steps in while making tails wag? Chubby Wienerz Pet Care is looking for a reliable and dog loving human to join our small but mighty team as a part time dog walker serving the eastern side of Loudoun County. This is not a corporate pet service where dogs get shuffled around by random walkers. Our clients trust us because we treat their pets like family, and we're looking for someone who shares that mindset. Schedule Monday through Friday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Perfect for someone who wants consistent daytime work while enjoying the outdoors and spending time with some pretty amazing pups. Duties Safely walk dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, following specific care instructions Monitor dogs during walks to ensure safety and proper behavior Provide basic dog training commands to encourage good manners and obedience Restrain and handle dogs using appropriate animal handling techniques Assist with pet sitting duties when needed, including feeding and administering medication if required Maintain clean and organized equipment, leashes, and walking areas Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' behavior and health during walks Requirements Prior experience with dog handling, pet sitting or animal care preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects such as bags of dog food or equipment safely Strong animal handling skills with patience and confidence Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners Physical stamina to walk multiple dogs daily in various weather conditions We are a locally owned pet care company that focuses on personalized care for dogs and their families.
