Job Description
Responsibilities Bathe, dry, brush, and de-shed dogs according to salon standards and pet owner requests Safely handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments Assist groomers with preparation and finishing work before and after grooming appointments Perform basic hygiene services, including nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing when appropriate Monitor pets for signs of stress, injury, illness, or unusual behavior and report concerns to management Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bathing and grooming area Properly clean and disinfect tubs, tools, kennels, and workstations throughout the day Assist with pet check-in and check-out procedures when needed Follow all salon safety, sanitation, and animal-handling protocols Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate customer service to pet owners Support team members and contribute to a positive salon environment Qualifications Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Ability to safely lift, restrain, and handle pets when necessary Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Strong attention to detail and commitment to pet safety and well-being Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Previous experience in pet bathing or grooming is strongly preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and getting wet throughout the day Schedule Saturday availability required
