Join the team! If you have a love for animals, are reliable, and want to earn some extra money having fun, this is the job for you! This is a great way to earn a little extra $ but this is only P/T and hours vary. This position is for our dinner time and bedtime routes Monday thru Friday and weekends for any shift, as needed. This is primarily Virginia Beach but may include Norfolk or Chesapeake occasionally. Shifts will vary in length depending on client bookings. Once trained you would be working independently, following a route to care for clients' pets.
Some duties include:
walking dogs, feeding pets, giving medications, playing with pets, cleaning litter boxes, taking out trash, and other tasks clients request for pets and home care. Training period is 2-3 weeks and starts at 13/hour. After a successful completion of the training period an increase review is scheduled. This position also receives Tips, Bonus, and Employee Discount.
Some additional requirements:
Animal care experience is a plus. We will provide paid training for the right person! Dependability is required to keep this job. This is a fun job but requires a higher level of reliability than most p/t jobs. The ability to follow written directions. Positive people only Have the ability to handle dogs of different sizes and breeds on leash. Must have the ability to walk long distances in different weather conditions. We work rain or shine!
