This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of pets, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care while supporting the overall operations of our pet care facility. Duties Provide attentive pet care by feeding, watering, and monitoring animals throughout their stay Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment Assist with animal handling, restraint, and behavior management to ensure safety for pets and staff Support pet grooming activities including bathing, brushing, and basic trimming as needed Help with pet boarding procedures by checking in/out animals and documenting their health status Perform outdoor work such as walking dogs, cleaning outdoor enclosures, and supervising playtime Collaborate with team members during lifting tasks such as moving kennels or heavy supplies to ensure safety and efficiency Skills Experience in pet sitting or animal care facilities demonstrates your ability to handle diverse pets confidently Strong dog training skills and knowledge of animal behavior help promote positive interactions and training consistency Excellent animal handling skills including restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming or medical procedures Proficiency in cleaning, sanitization, and facility maintenance supports a healthy environment for animals and staff Customer service skills are essential for communicating effectively with pet owners and visitors Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during tasks like moving supplies or equipment while practicing team lifting techniques Outdoor work experience enhances your ability to manage outdoor enclosures and supervise active pets Join us in creating a caring, energetic atmosphere where animals thrive!
