Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Assess each pet's coat, skin, and overall health, alerting owners to any concerns or abnormalities Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, adhering to sanitation standards at all times Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about grooming preferences and aftercare instructions Assist with animal handling tasks such as restraint during grooming procedures or veterinary visits when necessary Support pet care activities including feeding, basic veterinary assistance, or kennel duties as needed Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods to ensure safe grooming sessions Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as grooming equipment or large dogs safely and effectively Strong animal handling skills with a focus on gentle restraint and pet comfort during grooming procedures Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is a plus for understanding animal behavior and care needs Join us in creating a welcoming environment where pets are pampered and owners feel confident in our expert care.
