Part Time Animal Care Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dog and Cat Boarding and Daycare Specialist to join our pet care team. In this role, you will be the end of day care giver from 4:45 - 7:15pm for the pets in our care. Your enthusiasm for animals and passion for creating a clean and safe environment for pets will help ensure a positive stay for the animals and peace of mind for their owners. This paid position offers an opportunity to work with animals without a huge time commitment if part time employment is your preference. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to dogs and cats in boarding and daycare settings, ensuring their safety and comfort. Assist with pet feeding, administering medications as needed, and maintaining proper hydration levels Handle animals safely using proper techniques while demonstrating gentle handling skills Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and kennel maintenance to uphold health standards and a clean environment Monitor pet behavior closely, identifying signs of stress or illness, and communicate concerns promptly to management Experience Prior experience in dog handling, kennel work, or pet sitting is highly desirable but will train the right person Cleaning experience desirable but will train the right person Team player who is also able to work independently Basic computer skills This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to expand their skills in animal care within a supportive team environment.
