In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for dogs and other pets while supporting their health and well-being. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure our furry friends receive the highest quality care, making a positive impact on their lives and the experience of their owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals, develop your pet care skills, and contribute to a compassionate community. Responsibilities Provide attentive pet care by feeding, watering, exercising, and monitoring animals throughout their stay Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Support veterinary staff with basic animal care tasks such as administering medications or assisting during examinations Heavy lifting may be required when moving supplies or assisting with large animals or equipment Requirement Must be 18 years of age. Experience is a plus. Must be a self starter and a hard worker.
Pay:
$17.50 - $18.00 per hour
