Job Description

Greenbrier Humane Society is seeking a Kennel Technician.
Job Duties:
Clean and disinfect kennels and crates. Clean common areas and/or equipment throughout the shelter Collect, wash and distribute food and water bowls Collect, wash and distribute linens Provide daily exercise and various animal enrichment activities throughout the day Assist with animals for assessment by animal care staff (These duties are illustrative only and various other duties may be required as need demands.)
Physical Demands:
Required to be able to stand, walk, crouch, crawl and reach often Must be able to regularly lift, move, and restrain animals weighing up to 50lbs and occasionally lift, move and restrain animals weighing up to 100lbs with assistance Persons performing this job must NOT be allergic to animals or common cleaning agents
Schedule:
Days Evenings Must be available on weekends and/or holidays Must be able to take direction and be a team player! •Due to the volume of applications received, we are unable to provide individual application status updates.
