Duties Safely bathe, dry, brush, and groom dogs of all breeds and sizes using appropriate techniques and tools Assist with dog handling during grooming procedures to ensure comfort and safety for both pets and staff Perform animal restraint using gentle yet effective methods to facilitate grooming tasks Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by disinfecting tools and work areas regularly Observe pets closely for signs of health issues or discomfort and communicate concerns to veterinary staff or managers Provide excellent customer service by explaining grooming procedures and addressing client questions or requests Support pet care activities such as feeding, walking, or administering basic medications when needed Experience Prior dog handling experience or training in pet grooming is highly preferred Experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, kennels, or pet sitting environments is advantageous Knowledge of pet grooming techniques, including brushing, trimming, deshedding, dematting, and bathing procedures Familiarity with animal restraint methods to ensure safe grooming sessions Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles adds valuable insight into animal health considerations Ability to lift heavy loads safely when handling large dogs or equipment Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Join us to turn your love for animals into a rewarding career where every day brings new opportunities to make pets look fabulous and owners smile!
