In this role, you will provide exceptional care and attention to a variety of pets, ensuring their safety, comfort, health and happiness. This is not your typical pet care team as we are very focused and attentive for each client. From dog walking and pet sitting, you'll play a vital part in enhancing the lives of animals and building trusting relationships with pet owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, handle diverse animals, and develop your skills in animal behavior and care. Our goal to help each dog and or cat have a happy and healthy experience with our care. Duties Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, specific exercises/ walks and ensuring overall well-being. Engage pets in exercise routines such as dog walking, outdoor play, and mental stimulation activities. Handle animals safely using proper & kind techniques during walks and activities. For safety and insurance purposes, we do not talk or use out cell phones during walks as that is a massive distraction and we have all team members engaged with the dogs. Assist with walk training exercises for dogs, as needed and for better walks Maintain clear communication via text with pet owners about their pets' activities, health status, and any concerns. Perform overnight in-home care visits to ensure pets are comfortable and secure during extended absences. Some boarding for small dogs will need to be done at your home. Engage with the cats and dogs as instructed by the owners and the team leader Qualifications Must be kind and humane!!! Open to learn new positive techniques. Prior experience in dog training, animal handling, or pet sitting is highly desirable. Veterinary experience including veterinary technician or assistant background is a strong plus. Knowledge of animal behavior and effective training techniques for dogs and cats. You do not have to be a certified trainer. We only use very humane techniques with positive reinforcements. Ability to handle large or heavy animals safely through proper lifting and restraint skills. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is preferred. This is a very physical job! Strong client communication skills to provide updates and address owner questions confidently. Must have a valid ID and reliable car! Pay:

From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
