Job Overview Join my team as a Kennel Attendant and become a vital part of providing exceptional care and comfort to some awesome, social dogs! In this energetic role, you will help ensure the well-being, cleanliness, and safety of dogs for a local dog training business in a home-environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment for pups and their owners alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with dogs, develop valuable skills, and contribute to a compassionate pet care community. Responsibilities Provide attentive dog care including feeding, watering, supervising group play, and administering medication as needed Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas Assist in welcoming and returning dogs to their owners using safe handling techniques Monitor dog behavior to identify signs of stress or illness, intervene where trained to do so, and report concerns promptly Interact with dogs indoors and outdoors to ensure pets are comfortable and engaged Support team lifting efforts when moving heavy supplies Skills Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal behavior management Confident and positive animal handling and relating skills with a focus on safety Customer service abilities to communicate effectively with pet owners and team Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions Seeking self-motivated individuals who are eager to learn, compassionate in their approach, and committed to maintaining a high standard of animal care. Pay:
$22.88 - $27.56 per hour
