Currently looking to fill our "Danny" position (aka Dog Nanny). Our last assistant moved abroad to continue their education. We're looking for someone interested in stable, long term employment with a genuine love & enthusiasm for dogs of all sizes and breeds. Responsibilities Daily Dog Walks Playing, Pet Sitting, Feeding (making their food), Vet Visits & Maintaining their Daily Routines Handle Dogs safely using proper handling techniques & skills to ensure the comfort/security of our Dogs Perform pet grooming tasks such as brushing / bathing as needed Monitor Dogs health & behavior while in your care, reporting any concerns or veterinary needs to clients promptly Maintain detailed records of pet care activities, feeding schedules & special instructions for each animal Requirements Proven experience with dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care roles; veterinary technician or dog training experience is a plus Knowledge of dog training techniques & animal restraint methods Strong animal handling skills across various breeds of dogs Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs) when necessary for supplies or equipment Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards Employers & our Dogs Familiarity with pet grooming, dog training, veterinary procedures, or veterinary experience is plus Reliable transportation & flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, or holidays as needed This is a wonderful opportunity for someone that genuinely loves dogs. This is a home office environment with a family vibe rather than corporate hustle, where you get paid for your love for animals.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
