What You'll Do:
Supervise and Manage Dog Groups:
Monitor play sessions to ensure safety, address behavioral issues, and maintain a calm, balanced environment.
Deliver Exceptional Care:
Follow feeding schedules, administer medications (if needed), and observe dogs for health or behavioral concerns. Communicate with
Pet Parents:
Provide professional updates on their dogs' behavior, health, and activities to build trust and confidence. Maintain a
Clean and Safe Environment:
Keep our facility spotless and organized to ensure the well-being of all dogs in our care. Collaborate with the
Team:
Work alongside other handlers to create a positive and efficient workflow.
Who You Are:
Experienced in
Dog Care:
Prior experience working in a dog daycare, kennel, veterinary clinic, or similar setting is highly preferred.
Knowledgeable About Dog Behavior:
You can recognize and address common behavioral issues and understand the importance of structure and boundaries.
Reliable and Responsible:
You're punctual, take direction well, and understand that the safety and happiness of our dogs depend on your attention to detail.
Strong Communicator:
You're confident speaking with pet parents and teammates to ensure the highest standard of care.
Physically Capable:
Comfortable working on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs, and handling active dogs of all sizes.
