Job Description

Start Your Career in Professional Animal Care Siskiyou Pet Care is seeking dependable, motivated individuals who are interested in building a career in the pet care industry. As a Canine Care Attendant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the health, safety, cleanliness, and overall wellbeing of the dogs entrusted to our care. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, value accountability, and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families. This is not simply a "play with dogs all day" position. Our Canine Care Attendants are responsible for providing exceptional daily care while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and customer service throughout our resort. What You'll Do Provide daily care and supervision for dogs staying in our boarding and daycare programs Monitor canine behavior and maintain a safe environment for all guests Follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and individualized care plans Perform daily health observations and communicate concerns promptly Maintain clean, sanitary kennels, yards, and common areas Assist with bathing, grooming preparation, and other animal care tasks as needed Support front desk operations, client interactions, and resort-wide teamwork Maintain accurate records and documentation What We're Looking For Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and attention to detail Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active work Why Join Siskiyou Pet Care? Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
