Responsibilities Supervise group play, continuously reading dog body language to maintain a safe and controlled environment Intervene quickly and appropriately to redirect or separate dogs when needed Provide full care for boarding dogs including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Bathe dogs and perform basic grooming tasks such as brushing and blow-drying Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and common spaces throughout the day Monitor dogs for signs of stress, illness, or behavioral changes and report concerns promptly Deliver excellent customer service by answering questions from pet owners and providing updates on their pets' activities Assist with general facility tasks including restocking and equipment upkeep Preferred Qualifications/Skills Hands-on experience handling dogs of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments Ability to safely restrain dogs for grooming Experience in a dog daycare, kennel, veterinary, or similar animal care setting Comfortable working in a loud, active, and sometimes unpredictable environment Physically able to stay on your feet all day and lift large dogs or heavy supplies as needed Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Strong communication skills with both animals and people Ability to work actively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail We are hiring two full-time staff members (5 shifts a week) and one part-time staff member (3-4 shifts a week). Our morning shift is from 6:15am to 12:30/2:30pm. Our evening shift is 12:00/2:00pm until 8pm. Our ideal candidate is available to work either shift type, for example, preferably no "I can never work mornings" restrictions. We do our best to accommodate preferences!
