Responsibilities Safely handle during feeding, cleaning, grooming, Monitor dogs' behavior daily, observing for signs of stress, illness, or discomfort; report any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces by performing routine sanitization and ensuring a hygienic environment. Engage with dogs through training exercises or socialization activities to promote good behavior and reduce anxiety. Uphold safety protocols during outdoor work and heavy lifting tasks involved in kennel maintenance or equipment handling. Qualifications Previous experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable. Experience in dog training, kennel work, or animal handling is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when moving supplies or assisting with kennel setup. Strong knowledge of animal behavior and sanitation practices. Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly attitude toward volunteers and team members. Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving outdoor exercise areas or yard maintenance. Demonstrated commitment to animal care standards including sanitization protocols in pet care facilities.
