We're looking for someone who is passionate about dogs, calm under pressure, and genuinely fascinated by canine behavior. Training experience is NOT required. In fact, we'd rather hire someone with exceptional character, work ethic, and an intuitive understanding of dog behavior than someone with years of training experience. Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate has experience handling dogs in environments such as: Animal shelters Rescue organizations Veterinary hospitals Daycare or boarding facilities Animal control or similar settings Experience working with reactive, fearful, or aggressive dogs is a major plus. If you understand why dogs behave the way they do, we can teach you how to train them. What You'll Do Safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Learn the Happy Go Lucky training system from experienced trainers Assist with day training, obedience, behavior modification, and enrichment Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment Build positive relationships with dogs, clients, and teammates What We Value Calm, confident demeanor Strong work ethic Reliability and integrity Coachability and willingness to learn Genuine love for dogs and their well-being Team-first attitude This is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a respected local company that is growing rapidly.
