About Pets Behave Pets Behave is a growing, positive reinforcement dog training company that has been in operation for over 20 years. We are dedicated to helping dogs and their families build lasting relationships through reward-based, science-backed training. We offer puppy training, basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification, day train, scent work, agility, and service dog training. As we continue to grow, we're looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who are passionate about dogs and enjoy working with people. Position Overview We're seeking a Dog Trainer to join our team. While previous dog training experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with professional or hands-on animal experience and a strong desire to learn. The right person is patient, dependable, eager to continue their education, and committed to force-free, positive reinforcement training methods. Responsibilities
- Teach/Assist with group classes, day train, private lessons.
- Educate and coach pet owners using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Communicate professionally with clients.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and positive training environment.
- Continue developing knowledge of modern, evidence-based training practices. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous dog training experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working with dogs in boarding, daycare, veterinary, grooming, rescue, shelter, or similar animal care settings is a plus.
- Certification or willingness to work towards/acquire.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. What We Offer

Pay:
$15.00- $20.
