In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for providing professional grooming and bathing services that keep our furry clients looking and feeling their best. Your expertise in animal handling and pet grooming will help ensure each dog receives compassionate, high-quality treatment in a lively, supportive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills while making a positive impact on pets and their owners every day. Duties Safely handle dogs of all breeds and sizes using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety. Perform thorough bathing, drying, brushing, and grooming procedures tailored to each pet's needs. Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior during grooming sessions. Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Monitor dogs' health during grooming for signs of veterinary concerns or discomfort, communicating with veterinary staff as needed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with pet owners, explaining grooming processes, and addressing questions or concerns. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming or dog handling is required. Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management enhances your ability to work effectively with pets. Experience with veterinary or kennel environments provides valuable insight into animal care standards. Comfort with heavy lifting is necessary for handling larger dogs or equipment safely. Strong animal handling skills combined with excellent customer service abilities are essential for success in this role.
