Kennel Technician

Duties Provide daily care for dogs and other animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed by veterinary staff Maintain clean and sanitized kennels, cages, and common areas to promote health and hygiene Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming, medical procedures, or routine checks Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and socialization skills Support veterinary technicians by observing animal conditions and reporting any concerns promptly Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning to keep animals comfortable and healthy Offer pet sitting services by caring for animals in their owners' absence, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism Requirements Prior experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary clinic, or pet care setting is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving animals or supplies Strong understanding of animal restraint methods to ensure safety during procedures Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Passion for animal care combined with a positive attitude and energetic work ethic Join us in creating a safe haven where pets feel loved and cared for!
