This is a meaningful opportunity to work directly with animals throughout their journey — providing daily care, enrichment, and support while helping them feel safe, loved, and ready for their next step. This position is ideal for someone who loves animals, enjoys staying active, and wants to play an important role in both boarding care and rescue work.

Schedule:

Full-time, 3 to 4 days per week 9-10 hour shifts

Responsibilities:

Provide food, water, bedding, and daily care for boarding pets and shelter animals Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, cages, runs, and common areas Monitor animal health and behavior and report concerns to veterinary staff Assist with administering medications as directed Exercise, socialize, and enrich animals through walks, playtime, and hands-on interaction Help with dog walking, puppy playtime, and meet and greets Assist with check-ins and check-outs for boarding pets Support the overall health, comfort, and happiness of the animals in our care Follow all safety and animal-handling protocols to prevent injury or escape

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous animal experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being
