You will supervise and care for dogs participating in facility services included but not limited to dog daycare and overnight pet boarding. Canine Coaches report to the Shift Lead or Manager on duty. After the initial first 90 day probational period is successfully completed related to basic services, additional training may be provided to Canine Coaches to expand their level of responsibility. Please note, coaches will be performing a number of tasks including but not limited to keeping kennels, cages, rooms, and walkways clean/sanitized. Follow feeding, treating, and cleaning procedures correctly and timely. While also monitoring animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the supervisor Please note you will be exposed to outside weather, and will experience a moderately loud/high noise environment throughout the day. Requirements Own reliable form of transportation with valid driver license At least 18 years of age Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred Knowledge of basic animal handling techniques (on site training provided) Ability to work well in a team environment Strong communication skills Willingness to learn and take direction Physical ability to lift and move animals of various sizes Joining our team provides the opportunity to work closely with animals, gain valuable experience in the pet industry, and contribute to the well-being of pets in our community.
