This role is for someone who has experience training dogs, understands behavior, and can communicate clearly with both dogs and people. We focus on practical, relationship-based training that helps dogs and owners build better habits, better communication, and more consistency in everyday life. What You'll Do Lead training sessions with dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments Work with clients on obedience, behavior, structure, and follow-through at home Handle dogs safely and confidently during training, walks, and daily routines Help dogs build better behavior through clear communication and consistency Explain progress, homework, and next steps to clients in a way they can understand Assist with general daily tasks, scheduling, and client communication as needed Help keep the training space clean, organized, and running smoothly This Role Is a Good Fit If You Have experience training dogs and handling a variety of personalities and behavior issues Communicate well and stay calm in different situations Are comfortable working with both dogs and people Understand the importance of consistency, timing, and follow-through Are organized, dependable, and able to work independently Are open to learning and continuing to grow in your training skills Requirements Dog training experience is required Must be able to handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels Reliable transportation to Bristol, IL Must be able to stand, walk, and work actively for extended periods Weekend availability is a plus Background in customer service or animal care is helpful Social media skills are a bonus, but not required What We Provide Ongoing mentorship and hands-on training Paid certifications and coursework for continued development Clear opportunities for growth within the company
