Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Commission Paid Dog Trainer, where your passion for animals and expertise in training will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. This energetic role offers the opportunity to develop tailored training programs, enhance pet behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies, and foster strong client relationships. As a key contributor, you will utilize your animal handling skills to promote obedience, good manners, and behavioral modification, all while working in a supportive environment that values your growth and dedication. Duties Conduct personalized obedience training sessions for dogs and other pets using positive reinforcement techniques. Assess animal behavior and develop customized training plans to address specific behavioral issues. Educate pet owners on pet behavioral modification, positive behavior support strategies, and effective training methods. Manage group classroom activities focused on animal behavior management. Communicate clearly with clients regarding training progress, behavioral goals, and at-home reinforcement strategies. Ensure safety during training sessions and handling activities. Experience Hands-on dog training experience with a strong understanding of obedience training for pets. Familiarity with classroom positive reinforcement methods and pet behavioral modification techniques. Experience in customer service roles involving client communication about pet care or training. Knowledge of basic obedience, behavior modification, agility, lure course, pack walks, nose work, and various enrichment opportunities including water play days and doggy crossfit. Ability to work actively in physically demanding situations involving animal movement.
