  • 7:00 PM Tuesday
  • Wednesday:
    Off Thursday
  • Friday:
    2:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM Saturday
  • Sunday:
    7:00 AM
  • 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM This is an afternoon/evening and weekend role with split shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

About Us Do Better Training is a fear-free dog boarding and training facility dedicated to providing a safe, positive environment for dogs. We focus on reward-based training and stress-free handling to ensure every dog in our care feels comfortable and supported. Whether they're here for training, daycare, or boarding, we strive to give pets and their owners the best possible experience. We are looking for a Dog Trainer / Front Desk / Kennel Assistant to join our team. This part-time position is ideal for someone with experience in dog daycare, boarding, shelters, dog training, or other pet care settings who is passionate about both animal welfare and customer service. Responsibilities Front Desk & Client Interaction Greet clients and provide excellent customer service Check dogs in and out for boarding, daycare, and training services Answer phones and respond to emails Assist with scheduling and administrative tasks Assist with social media (taking photos/videos) Cleaning & Facility Upkeep Wash dishes and do laundry Vacuum, mop, and maintain cleanliness in the office and kennel areas Assist with kennel cleaning to ensure a sanitary environment Dog Training / Handling & Supervision Escort dogs to and from kennels safely Monitor playgroups, ensuring safe and positive interactions Use fear-free handling techniques to reduce stress in dogs Administer training plans Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in dog training (required) Fear Free Certification
  • training level (required) Pet Professional Guild membership or affiliation (preferred) Previous experience in a dog daycare, boarding facility, shelter, or similar pet care role Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Why Join Do Better Training?
