Balanced Dog Trainer

Full-Time Dog Trainer - High Growth Opportunity Indy's Top Dog is hiring a full-time dog trainer to help handle a rapidly growing training workload. We are looking for someone who is confident working dogs independently and can produce reliable obedience results in real-world situations. This is not an entry-level kennel position. We are looking for someone who can take initiative, handle multiple dogs, communicate well with clients, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

$18/hour base pay Performance bonuses Client acquisition commissions Lesson opportunities Review bonuses Additional incentive pay and monthly capacity bonuses available Typical earnings range: $50,000-$80,000+ depending on production and performance.

Requirements:

Strong dog handling skills Solid understanding of obedience training Experience with e-collar training and leash pressure Ability to read dog behavior and apply appropriate levels of pressure and guidance Comfortable handling large, reactive, and difficult dogs Ability to work independently and manage multiple dogs at once Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Good communication and professionalism with clients We are looking for someone who is motivated by performance, growth, and becoming part of a rapidly expanding company with long-term leadership opportunities available for the right person.
