Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care for animals in a kennel environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and the ability to handle various breeds and sizes of dogs and other pets. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of the animals in our care while maintaining a clean and organized facility. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management. Assist with animal restraint during grooming or veterinary procedures as needed. Engage with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Support dog training sessions by reinforcing commands and behaviors as instructed. Handle heavy lifting when moving animals or cleaning equipment. Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and health observations. Requirements Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
