Job Description
Join the retreat where we love pets like they are our own! We are are a boutique sized kennel looking for compassionate positive people who want to grow with us! We offer daycare, boarding and a variety of activities for pets. We are looking for someone who has a passion for dogs and is willing to learn canine body language and gentle dog handling skills. We are looking for seasonal/part time and possibly full time with split shift opportunities. Hours varies from 6:30 am - 6pm. Holidays and weekend are required. We are currently in peak season and stay very busy during the summer months. Sometimes clients need to drop early/late as well. Must be able to lift 50lbs and work with large and small dogs with various personalities. We thrive to have exceptional customer service with compassion. Must be able to speak with clients and handle challenging situations with grace. Must be willing to learn canine body language to ensure the safety of all pets! Must be willing to maintain cleanliness in kennel area in addition to leading play groups or 1 on 1 play with dogs.
