Canine Coach Dogtopia is the leading dog daycare in the U.S. that provides a safe and fun environment for daycare, overnight stays, and spa services, giving pet parents peace of mind. Job Description Dogtopia of South Lafayette is seeking hardworking, organized, and self-motivated individuals to join our Canine Coach team. Professional dog experience is preferred, but not required. Beginning salary starts at $10.00/hour with options for advancement if qualified. Opportunities for growth for those considering a career working with dogs. Option to bring personal dog to join playgroups when all criteria is met. Qualifications 18 years of age or older Dog lover! Must be able to interact in a positive and humane manner with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds Able to lift up to 50lbs without help Must be willing to work weekends and holidays when needed Open availability Ability to stay calm and collected in stressful or intimidating circumstances Reliable Transportation Responsibilities Canine Coach responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervise and facilitate play in a large group of off-leash dogs Show attention and care to all the dogs in your playroom Maintain consistent time and attendance standards as well as dress code at all times Ability and knowledge to provide basic grooming services such as baths, nail trims, ear and teeth cleaning, brush outs, etc. Work with others in a team and communicate effectively both orally and written Heavily clean on a daily basis, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and cleaning up dog waste Feeding and medicating dogs as needed Additional Information All of our employees are expected to live up to the Dogtopia core values: We LOVE life unconditionally like a dog We STAY loyal to our pack We CHASE the absolute highest standards of safety We PLAY to our fullest potential We TREAT every day like it's the Most Exciting Day Ever!
