Crate Escape Belmont, a family-owned dog daycare, is looking for motivated, dependable individuals who are truly passionate about working with dogs. Applicants must be 18 years or older. What We're Looking For:
Previous professional experience in pet care (vet tech, dog walker, dog sitter, kennel staff, etc.) A genuine interest in learning about dog behavior, body language, and group play dynamics Motivation to grow within the company, with opportunities to advance into leadership roles such as Shift Leader A positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfort handling dogs of all breeds and sizes Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced, sometimes loud environment Strong time management skills and reliability Reliable transportation (we're conveniently located on an MBTA route)
What You'll Be Doing:
Safely supervising and managing structured playgroups Moving dogs throughout the facility for daycare, rest breaks, and activities Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment Monitoring dog behavior and watching closely for signs of stress or illness Participating in enrichment activities including outdoor play, structured walks, basic training exercises, food puzzles, and more Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on role.
