Join our pack! Baltimore Bark House is a doggie daycare and hotel offering purposeful play and personalized overnight stays. We strive to provide an elevated experience in caring for dogs that are away from their homes. We are seeking experienced and dedicated individuals who are enthusiastic about creating a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs in our care, the humans that love them, and the staff that cares for them.
Responsibilities:
Manage and engage with dogs during open group play, group enrichment and individual enrichment sessions, ensuring their safety and happiness. Provide enrichment activities and structure in line with curriculum and training plans. Assist with feeding, bathing, and administering medication to dogs according to their individual needs. Maintain a clean and hygienic facility, including cleaning kennels and play areas to include properly disposal of dog waste and urine. Communicate effectively with pet owners, sharing updates and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for dogs, their owners, and teammates.
Qualifications:
Genuine love for dogs and a strong sense of responsibility for their well-being. Ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes physically demanding environment to include play sessions outside in all seasons, lifting 40lbs, and standing for long periods of time. Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude. Prior experience in animal care, such as dog handling or working in a pet care facility, is a MUST.

Saturday, Sunday, or both. Shifts options typically are 6a-12:30p | 12:30p-7p | 6:30a-6:30p
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
