In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and loving environment for animals in our pet care facility. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure each pet receives the highest standard of care, from feeding and cleaning to gentle handling and enrichment activities. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and thorough cleaning procedures Handle animals safely using proper techniques and animal handling skills to ensure their comfort and safety Monitor animal behavior for signs of stress or illness and report any concerns promptly to veterinary staff or supervisors Assist with pet boarding and outdoor exercise routines to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Ensure compliance with health and safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols and facility guidelines Skills Prior veterinary or kennel experience is highly valued Experience with pet sitting, dog boarding, or animal behavior management enhances your ability to connect with animals effectively Strong animal handling skills including animal restraint and pet care techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during kennel cleaning or equipment setup Excellent customer service skills to communicate positively with pet owners and visitors Outdoor work experience is beneficial for outdoor exercise routines Familiarity with pet boarding procedures, facility sanitization, and pet care facility safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for animals makes a real difference!
