Job Description
Job Summary Our family owned dog daycare & boarding facility is looking for an experienced team member who is passionate about working with dogs and takes pride in their work. In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising playtime, ensuring animal safety, and providing exceptional care that keeps our furry friends happy and healthy. We are looking for someone to start part-time and gradually grow into a more full time position. Our goal is to form a strong working relationship with someone that can eventually be in a leadership position. Responsibilities Monitor and supervise dogs during play sessions, ensuring safe interactions and preventing conflicts or injuries Handle dogs with care using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of the facility by cleaning kennels, play areas, and equipment regularly Skills Proven experience in dog handling, training, or pet care roles Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain dogs of various sizes and temperaments Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and visitors Familiarity with animal care protocols, kennel management, and basic veterinary procedures is a plus Energetic attitude with a genuine passion for animals
