Job Description
Dog Handler - Full-Time or Part-Time (24+ Hours/Week) Join Our Team at Red Barn! We are looking for dependable, energetic Dog Handlers to grow with us. Schedule Requirements Weekend and holiday availability is required Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM and end as late as 8:00 PM Applicants must be able to reliably work within these hours Please note: This is a long-term position. Due to the extensive training involved, we are not hiring for summer-only, seasonal, or temporary employment. Responsibilities Supervise safe, structured dog playgroups Monitor dog behavior and promote positive interactions Keep dogs engaged, active, and well-managed throughout the day Maintain clean, organized play areas, including cleaning up pet messes Follow facility safety and care procedures Qualifications Ability to move quickly and remain alert in active play environments Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Able to stand, walk, and stay active for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance Positive attitude and willingness to learn Experience No prior dog handling experience is required. We provide comprehensive training in dog behavior, safety, and handling techniques. We're looking for team members with a strong work ethic and a genuine love of dogs.
