Kennel/Office Manager

• Looking for an animal-loving, reliable, energetic, outgoing, and motivated person who likes to work with K9 clientele?

This person must have sufficient knowledge of how to handle and care for our K9 clientele. It is a "hands-on management position. Providing help in a variety of ways and must always ensure that kennel operations adhere to company guidelines and all laws regarding animal care and that the environment is safe and clean at all times. We are looking for someone that can build a strong caring motivated team, as well as, provide excellent customer service. You must have management experience in the pet care industry,. The person must be able to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, physical environment. This person is responsible for hiring, training, directing staff and carrying out employee evaluations, creating schedules, and providing disciplinary action when necessary. Must have good computer skills, professional demeanor, and detailed oriented, and ensure safety and cleanliness for all. Position

• oversees the entire operation and is responsible for payroll and scheduling. Most importantly a love for dogs. . Desired Qualifications
• Must be able to work at least 6 shifts per week and be available on weekdays and weekends
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Minimum 2 years of management/team building experience, in the pet care industry
• Working knowledge of dog behavior and a sincere interest in working with dogs and their human companions
• The willingness and ability to adhere to strict policies regarding cleanliness, dog/employee safety, and client service
• Reliable and safety-minded
• Willingness and ability to be on call outside of hours of operation Vet Tech certification is a plus Free Dog daycare and discounted boarding for employee dogs (must meet Day Care qualifications) Min.
